Apple today released macOS Big Sur as its next big macOS update. The new version comes with an updated menu bar and a redesigned Dock. It also comes with an updated Control Centre. The macOS 11 Big Sur also includes updates to preloaded Messages, Maps, and Safari apps.

Today GIGABYTE Technology announced the release of new GPU-centric servers. Today, SonicWall announced four new firewalls, the NSa (note that the 'a' is not capitalized) 2700, the TZ270, TZ370, and TZ470. The new firewalls are in addition to the two other x70 firewalls, the TZ570 and the TZ670, they announced earlier this year. SonicWall was founded in 1991. SonicWall was a Dell subsidiary from 2012 to 2016 and currently focuses on network security. (more…)

Mmhmm app that was launched in beta by former Evernote CEO Phil Libin is now generally available for Mac users. The app debuted in July under an invite-only model. It can work with virtual platforms including Zoom and Google Meet.

Apple is reportedly looking to launch new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops in 2021, powered by the new in-house M1 chip. A smaller Mac Pro and a 24-inch iMac could also be in the offing, according to a report.
