A group of over 2,000 online sellers has filed an antitrust case against Amazon in India, alleging the US company favours some retailers whose online discounts drive independent vendors out of business.

Google Chrome is improving the performance of its tabs and introducing new features to increase efficiency. Improvements in the tabs could lead to 10 percent faster page loads and more battery and memory savings.

Microsoft Word on the Web has added an audio transcription feature that lets you generate a transcript of your previously recorded conversations or transcribe an ongoing conversation in real time. Called Transcribe in Word, the new feature uses Azure Cognitive Services to help provide transcriptions directly in the online version of Microsoft Word.

Today, BackupAssist released BackupAssist ER. The new technology is an automated, disk to disk to cloud backup for Windows Servers. Notably, BackupAssist ER is standalone, purchase-to-own software with a one-time price, not the ongoing expense of a disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) option.
