Why Is Mission: Impossible – Fallout Censored on Netflix in India?

Netflix is playing a censored version of Mission: Impossible – Fallout on its platform in India, which erases all mentions of Kashmir. This is the version that was approved for theatrical release by the Indian censor board. It’s unclear whether Netflix asked for a censored version, or whether the studio Paramount Pictures chose to do so.
