Acer has refreshed its Predator and Nitro series of gaming notebooks with updated 10th-gen Intel Core processors and higher refresh rate screens. The updated processors make their way to the Acer Predator Helios 700 and Predator Helios 300, Predator Triton 300, and the Acer Nitro 7 gaming laptops.

Acer Swift 5 (2020) has been unveiled at the company’s Next@Acer event with “next-gen” Intel Core processors that are paired with integrated graphics based on Intel’s Xe architecture. Acer also showed the ConceptD 3 and ConceptD 3 Ezel notebooks for creators.

Today Bamboo systems announced what it is calling a next generation server, the Bamboo B1000N Series. The B1000N Series is based on the company’s patent-pending Parallel Arm Node Designed Architecture (PANDA). Today at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)’s annual show, now digital, HPE Discover, the company announced the release of a major expansion of GreenLake with HPE GreenLake cloud services. The new GreenLake cloud services will span container management, machine learning operations, VMs, storage, compute, data protection, and networking. Today at HPE Discover, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced its new software portfolio, HPE Ezmeral. Ezmeral is said to help companies with their digital transformation and it seems to span across nearly every aspect, including container orchestration and management, AI/ML and data analytics, cost control, IT automation and AI-driven operations, and security. Today, Qumulo announced a service they are calling Qumulo Shift. The new service will allow customers to move file data from any Qumulo cluster into Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) in an open and non-proprietary format. (more…)
