The latest generation of consoles are out…sort of. If you can find an Xbox Series X or S, you are lucky. Today Kubernetes released its third major release of 2020 with Kubernetes 1.20. This release has a massive 44 enhancements. Of the 44, 11 have graduated to stable, 15 enhancements are moving to beta, and 16 enhancements are entering alpha. (more…)

Google on Wednesday released ‘Year in Search 2020’ results to detail the top trending searches in India and around the globe this year. The list of top searches includes ‘coronavirus', ‘US election results’, and ‘PM Kisan Yojana’.

Google will soon make it possible for users to access payment details and passwords without having to sync on Chrome. The search giant said that it was working to bring an easier signed-in experience to more features and users. Google is also making it easier to autofill payment methods stored in the account.

You.com has been announced to take on Google Search. The You.com website is live but is currently taking registrations for early access. The site says You.com offers privacy control to let users customises their browsing experience. The company says it ‘never sells your data to advertisers or follows you around the rest of the Internet.’

Minecraft with RTX ray tracing is now officially available for Windows 10 users who have the supported hardware. The game costs Rs. 1,474 on Windows 10 and can be purchased from the Microsoft store.

Researchers at the Forescout Technologies cybersecurity firm say they have identified vulnerabilities in software widely used by millions of connected devices – flaws that could be exploited by hackers to penetrate business and home computer networks and disrupt them.
