Apple is expected to launch its first MacBook Pro with an OLED screen in the next couple of years, replacing the current Mini-LED displays. The MacBook Air may get an OLED screen a year later. This year, the iPad Pro received the OLED upgrade for the first time, and upcoming models are also expected to follow suit.

Microsoft is rolling out a native Copilot app for Windows, the company announced on Tuesday. Introduced for testers registered with the Windows Insider Program, it replaces the progressive web app (PWA) which was available until now. The native Copilot for Windows app is being offered as an update following which it will appear in the system tray, as per Microsoft.

OpenAI released the Canvas tool out of preview on Tuesday, day four of its 12-day shipping schedule. Canvas was first announced in October as a sandbox-styled pop-up window that allows users to make inline edits, formatting, and other changes to text and code. Users can both make edits themselves or highlight a particular section and ask the AI to make changes.

Microsoft's December 2024 Patch Tuesday release includes crucial security updates for Windows laptops and desktops. Users should update immediately to address a publicly disclosed, actively exploited zero-day vulnerability. The update also fixes 30 remote code execution vulnerabilities and 41 other security flaws in Windows operating system components.
