VMware To Acquire Lastline

VMware has announced the intention to acquire Lastline, a cybersecurity company and breach detection platform provider. VMware is a provider of cloud computing and virtualization software and services. With this addition, VMware is looking to enhance its SDN network virtualization and security platform, NSX. The company affirms that the partnership is a step forward for VMware's vision of Intrinsic Security, as Lastline will allow them further to utilize the intrinsic attributes of VMware's virtualization platform to enable innovative security capabilities.
