StorCentric Nexsan released two new storage appliances, the StorCentric Unity 3300 and StorCentric Unity 7900 rack units. StorCentric was founded just two years ago in August 2018. In the less than two years it has existed, it has gobbled up four storage companies. The same month the company was founded, they announced that they would be acquiring storage companies Drobo and Nexsan. Soon afterwards, in June 2019, it bought Retrospect, a data backup vendor.
