In March of this year, Kingston Digital Inc. expanded its line of affordable enterprise SSDs with the introduction of the Kingston DC1000M. The new SSD is meant to be an affordable drive with NVMe level performance that replaces old SATA and SAS SSDs as companies move forward. QNAP Systems, Inc. announced yet another new NAS series with the QNAP TX-x31P3 series. The new series are quad-core 1.7GHz 2.5GbE NAS, that are either 2- or 4-bay. The QNAP TX-x31P3 series is aimed at providing smooth multimedia playback, while also supporting Snapshot backup and HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) for local, offsite and cloud backup. Apple is planning to start producing its ARM-based MacBook Air as early as the fourth quarter of this year, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo predicted that the Cupertino giant would be able to reduce the starting price of its next-generation MacBook Air model by leveraging its in-house silicon over an Intel processor.

DIAWAY has released a 2U hybrid server unit the company has chosen to call DIAWAY EDGEBOX. DIAWAY, or as they list themselves on LinkedIn and Google Maps, DIAWAY OÜ, is a small EU company in with their headquarters in the capital of Estonia. Xiaomi is hosting a global Ecosystem Product Launch 2020 event on July 15 where it is expected to unveil the anticipated Mi TV Stick. The event may also bring the global launch of the Mi Band 5, Mi Electric Scooter 1s, and the company’s recently debuted 34-inch curved monitor, among other devices.
