Internet Archive Sued by Publishers Over Scanning of Books

Four of the US' biggest publishers have sued a digital library for copyright infringement, alleging that the Internet Archive has illegally offered more than a million scanned works to the public, including such favourites as Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon, Malcolm Gladwell's Blink, and Cormac McCarthy's The Road.

Samsung Expands NAND Flash Production Capacity

This week we found that Samsung expands NAND flash production capacity in Pyeongtaek, Korea, to address mid- to long-term demands, specifically for the market’s emerging technologies. Construction is already well underway at the facility, with mass production of their V-NAND memory slated for a start sometime in the second half of 2021.
