Dell expands server lineup with new single-socket solutions for modern workloads.
Dell has expanded its server portfolio by introducing the PowerEdge R470 and R570, two single-socket servers designed to redefine performance and energy efficiency in modern data centers. Following the footsteps of the dual-socket R670 and R770 servers, these new models are powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors with energy-efficient E-cores to handle traditional and evolving workloads. Information about the PowerEdge R570 is limited as it isn’t scheduled for release until early 2025. Dell has stated the server will feature a scalable 2U design to support a broader range of workloads. The PowerEdge R470 is available now and fully detailed.
