Government Says No Proposal to Appoint Regulator for Social Media

The government on Wednesday said that there was no proposal to appoint a regulator for social media in a written reply in Lok Sabha. IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said social media platforms are enjoined to develop a robust grievance redress system.
