Josh, Indian Short Video-Sharing App like TikTok, Gets Google, Microsoft Backing in $100 Million Funding

Bengaluru-based VerSe Innovation that owns Josh, a short video-sharing app like TikTok, has got $100 million (roughly Rs. 700 crores) in funding led by Google and Microsoft. The popularity of the app spiked after TikTok was banned in India and has crossed 50 million downloads on the Google Play store.
