Xiaomi has launched their second Mi Notebook Air model with a 6th Gen Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD.
Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi has launched a new notebook variant called the Mi Notebook Air. The Mi Notebook Air gets the same 12.5-inch display as the earlier launched Mi Notebook Air but the chip-set is different. The older variant was powered by an Intel Core i3 processor. The new Mi Notebook Air is powered by the Core i5 processor, sixth generation.
The new Mi Notebook Air is already up on sale on various websites like JD.com and their official website. The Notebook is powered by 4GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The Notebook also gets 4G connectivity support as well.
As for specifications, the new 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air variant features a 12.5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 920 x 1080 pixels with 170 degrees wide viewing angle, 300nits brightness, 600: 1 contrast ratio, and 16: 9 widescreen ratio. Under the hood, the laptop is powered by the seventh gen Intel Core i5-7Y54 processor, paired with Intel HD Graphics integrated graphics 615. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home Edition and features up to 4GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and the option to expand further using a hard drive.
Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch supports 1C fast charge which claims to offer upto 8 hours of online video playback, 7.5 hours of local video playback, and 7.5 hours of web browsing. The device measures 292x202x12.9mm, and it weighs 1.07kg.
The laptop has a 1-megapixel web camera with support for 720p video calls. It features a backlit keyboard, and glass trackpad. In terms of connectivity, the Mi Notebook Air comes with support for a USB Type-C port, USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Other standard connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, and 4G connectivity.
