Today, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced some of their planned enhancements for their HCI lineup. Second generation AMD EPYC CPUs are expected to be available as a shipping option for HPE’s SimpliVity 325 Gen10 1U servers later this month. In addition, HPE Nimble Storage dHCI, a disaggregated HCI platform released last year, is now available through HPE Greenlake. However, the full set of planned features for dHCI through Greenlake won’t be available until later this year.
