Today NetApp announced a new object storage device for smaller environments with the NetApp StorageGRID SG100. The SG100 will be a turnkey solution for object stores that leverages the StorageGRID admin and gateway node software. This software also includes StorageGRID load balancer, what the company calls a critical component to operating object storage.
