Today, StorCentric announced its Data Mobility Suite (DMS) general availability launch. DMS is the first StorCentric branded software solution. StorCentric was founded in August 2018, just two years ago. In the short time the company has existed, they have gobbled up four other storage companies. The same month the company was founded, they announced that they would be acquiring storage companies Drobo and Nexsan. Soon afterward, in June 2019, it bought Retrospect, a data backup vendor. Most recently, in July of last year, StorCentric purchased Vexata. Prior to today, they have focused on the hardware side of storage.
